Stone Globe Lights were a natural choice when I was looking for something architecturally relevant to install at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons. Lighting around the guest car park needed to be discreet yet practical at night, while looking wholly appropriate during daylight hours. Stone Globes met that specific criteria and Joanna Wallis was both easy to work with and happy to customize the finish so the globes matched the surrounding stonework. I can thoroughly recommend both the product and its creator.

The Field magazine 2017

Following a phone call from Rosie Macdonald, Country Queries Editor of The Field, Joanna Wallis' bespoke hand painted umbrella stands feature in the current  issue of The Field magazine.

I had quite forgotten all about it, when out of the blue, a friend called to say was I aware I was featured in The Field this month.
With the Stone Globe Lights taking up most of my time now, I am doing far less of the painted side of the business.  I am happy however from time to time, to accept a commission for a bespoke piece.

I should just add that the image of the umbrella stand in the article, in not one of mine.
