Stone Globe Lights - customised

The finials can be customised to match or tone with existing masonry and brickwork

  • Finished as standard in 'weathered stone', the finials can be customised to match or tone with existing masonry and brickwork if required.
  • This photograph shows how the finials can be customised to match the pier caps and surrounding stonework.
  • Just a small sample of the stone is required in order to get a good match. Or even an indication of the colour from a paint chart such as Farrow & Ball would be sufficient.
  • Given the price of antique stone or modern cast stone finials, the Globe Lights represent excellent value for money especially given their dual day and night function.
  • An experienced lighting professional, Joanna Wallis is happy to work directly with clients in private gardens and also with specifiers managing large-scale projects.
  • For this customisation there was a small extra charge of £25.00 per item.
  • The price given is for the single hand-crafted and customised Globe Light on plinth.

Stone Globe Lights were a natural choice when I was looking for something architecturally relevant to install at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons. Lighting around the guest car park needed to be discreet yet practical at night, while looking wholly appropriate during daylight hours. Stone Globes met that specific criteria and Joanna Wallis was both easy to work with and happy to customize the finish so the globes matched the surrounding stonework. I can thoroughly recommend both the product and its creator.

The attraction of Joanna Wallis's globe lights is not only the remarkably authentic stone look by day and the glow of the globe by night, but also the price.  The globe lights are significantly cheaper than their stone counterparts and far more interesting!
